2023 Chardonnay
Made from grapes sourced from the Napa side of the Los Carneros appellation, this wine is both lush and precise. Notes of tart pineapple, Asian pear, meyer lemon, tropical flowers, and almond skin, this is a great match for everything from fish tacos to tikka masala.
Made to drink on the warmer end of things, this wine drinks best above 50 degrees, and really starts to shine at 60 or so. Why did I make it like this? Because white wine is usually enjoyed in warm weather and it tends to heat up quickly in the glass. So many wines taste great at low temps but lose their balance after warming a bit. Enjoy.

Winemaking
12 months in 30% new French oak. 40% malolactic fermentation. This wine was intentionally left with a bit of malic acid to ensure a crisp finish. Ready to drink now but will benefit from another 2 years of ageing. Should hold all the way through 2034 without issue.
